It’s me Erik — a Namibian-South African-Hungarian Award-Winning Copywriter chillaxing in Joburg with my wife and dogs. For over a decade, I’ve created work for brands big, small and everything in between, always chasing strange ideas that can become smart solutions.     2022 - Present
    I work on cross-platform campaigns for brands like Peugeot, Opel, Builders, and many others. From TV and radio to digital, social, gaming, and out-of-home, my work spans the full advertising spectrum. I’ve led retail-focused campaigns for Game Stores and crafted bold ideas for the Heineken Premium Wines portfolio as the creative lead. I’m always working to turn unexpected insights into standout creative that sticks.

    At Bank Windhoek, I worked with the Head of Creative Services to produce creative that reinforced the bank’s positioning as a connector of positive change. During my time there, I collaborated closely with various departments, helping to bring new products and services to market while also contributing to the growth of the bank’s market share.

    2016-2018
    At King James, I helped build brand awareness by creating integrated campaigns for established brands like Sanlam and Pick n Pay. I stayed up to date with marketing trends and ensured the work I created stood out. I executed campaigns that came to life across TV, radio, print, social media, and online platforms. I was also an integral part of pitch teams that successfully won the Tyme Bank and AB InBev accounts for the agency.

    During my time at MullenLowe, I worked on multinational campaigns for brands such as Hansa Pilsener, Unilever, and Pioneer Foods. I was exposed to everything — from brochures to integrated digital campaigns. My most notable achievement at MullenLowe was my role in the #GetMeTo21 campaign for the Organ Donor Foundation, which played a key role in raising awareness of the organ donor crisis in South Africa. The campaign won multiple awards, including South Africa’s 2016 Digital Ad of the Year.
